This policy covers all apps published by Andy Edmonds / Mind Bending Pixels:

PsychoDeli+ — Fractal visualizer for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, macOS, and web
OLED Fireworks — Generative fireworks screensaver for Amazon Fire TV

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

No personal information, no analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no telemetry. None of our apps communicate with any server. There is no account creation, no sign-in, no cloud storage.

Microphone Access

Some of our apps request microphone access to create audio-reactive visuals. When granted:

Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time
Audio is analyzed for frequency content (bass, mids, highs, beat detection)
Audio buffers are immediately discarded after analysis
No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted
You can deny microphone access and the apps will continue to work (without audio reactivity)

Continuity Camera (Apple TV)

Our Apple TV apps may use Continuity Camera to receive audio from a nearby iPhone. This uses Apple's system-level Continuity framework. The same rules apply: audio is processed on-device, never recorded or transmitted.

Camera Access

Camera permission is requested on tvOS solely for Continuity Camera (to receive audio from your iPhone). No video is captured, stored, or transmitted. We don't use the camera for any visual purpose.

In-App Purchases

Some apps offer optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features. These are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Amazon (Amazon Appstore). We do not receive or store any payment information.

Children

Our apps do not knowingly collect any information from children. Our apps contain no user-generated content, no social features, and no advertising.

Third-Party Services

None beyond platform SDKs. Our apps contain no analytics frameworks, no ad networks, no crash reporters. The only external dependencies are Apple's frameworks (Metal, AVFoundation, StoreKit) and Amazon's Appstore SDK (for in-app purchases on Fire TV).

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. We will not reduce your privacy protections without notice.
